Sealanya Dolphinpark

The marine park in Türkler opened in the summer of 2008. The show starts every day at 10:30 in the morning and runs for about fifty minutes, with the seals taking over after the dolphins. After the show, those who have booked move on to swim with the dolphins. It is a morning that wraps up before the midday heat sets in, easy to plan around with children.

The park stands on Akdeniz Boulevard in Türkler. Sealanya was built in two parts, Seapark and Dolphinpark. Seapark is closed at the moment, and Dolphinpark is the part that is open. The programme includes dolphin and seal shows, swimming with dolphins and with seals, and dolphin therapy. The park's own pages put the show at fifty to fifty-five minutes, of which around twenty belong to the seals.

Swimming with the dolphins starts after the show and lasts about twenty-five minutes. Each group gets one dolphin, with no more than eight people per group, and the pool is six metres deep. Children aged five and under cannot take part. Because sessions are limited, the park asks for tickets to be bought in advance, and video and photo cameras are not allowed during the swim.

Our dolphin show tour goes to the morning session and the show ticket is included. Swimming with dolphins is a separate programme, and we suggest reading its rules on that tour's page before you book: guests who cannot swim, are under 1.20 metres, are pregnant or have difficulty walking cannot go in the water.
