Your route

1 / 13 · Departure and return portDinek MarinaThe tour begins at the new marina at Dinek. From here, the yacht's first stop is Cleopatra Beach; the boat sails as far as the Alanya quay and returns to Dinek at the end of the tour.
2 / 13 · Two kilometres of Blue Flag sandCleopatra BeachThis beach stretching along the peninsula's west side carries Blue Flag status. As the yacht runs parallel to the shore you see the whole sweep of sand from the water — the city's best-known beach.
3 / 13 · Still water below the rocksCleopatra's PoolThe tour's first swim stop is made here, in this still water sheltered from the swell at the foot of the cliffs. Legend has it Cleopatra swam along this shore — a local story with no historical evidence.
4 / 13 · Where the rock seems to glowPhosphorescent CaveSlipping through the narrow rock opening, the cave's damp walls catch the daylight and appear to shimmer. The effect is clearest when the sea is calm and the sun sits at the right angle; the yacht slows here.
5 / 13 · The mouth on the western faceLovers' Cave — the entranceThe cave runs through the headland; on this route its mouth on the western face comes first, and this is where you enter. The yacht follows the rock line between the two openings.
6 / 13 · The peninsula's outer edgeCilvarda PointThis is where the peninsula juts hardest into the sea: cliffs drop straight to the water with centuries-worn ruins visible on top. There is no stop here — as the yacht rounds the point you stay on deck and watch the rock line.
7 / 13 · The opening in the rockLovers' Cave — the exitOnce you have rounded the point, the cave's second mouth appears at the foot of the cliff — this is the way out. The cave takes its name from a love story told here for centuries — a legend, not a historical record. The yacht slows so you can see the dim blue of the opening up close.
8 / 13 · A wall of stone from the waterThe Castle WallsRaised from 1221 under Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad, the walls ring the peninsula for 6.5 kilometres and, seen from here, climb all the way to the top of the cliff. The castle has been on UNESCO's Tentative World Heritage List since 2000.
9 / 13 · Reachable only from the waterPirates' CaveThis hollow in the peninsula's steep coast can only be reached from the water. Local legend says coastal pirates once hid their boats here — a story told locally, with no historical record. Look into its narrow mouth and the water turns a darker blue.
10 / 13 · Another swim stopRed Tower BayIn this bay between the tower and the shipyard the sea is clear and still; the tour makes another swimming and snorkelling stop here. In the water you have eight-century-old arches behind you and the tower's red mass ahead.
11 / 13 · The Mediterranean's first Seljuk dockyardThe Alanya ShipyardCompleted in 1227, the shipyard's five vaulted bays made it the first Seljuk naval base on the Mediterranean coast. Its sea wall runs 56.5 metres and the arches still open straight onto the water. The yacht passes right in front of them.
12 / 13 · Guarding the harbour since 1226The Red TowerThis 33-metre octagonal tower was completed in 1226 by Ebu Ali Reha, an architect brought from Aleppo, and has guarded the shipyard ever since. Its red brick gave the city its emblem, and from the sea it is the peninsula's most recognisable silhouette.
13 / 13 · Where the route turns backAlanya QuayFishing boats and yachts lie side by side at this quay below the Red Tower. Here the boat turns back and heads for the marina at Dinek.
Departure from the new marina, Cleopatra's bay, the caves, the headland and the Red Tower side — the route is drawn on a real drone photograph.
The order of the stops can change with the sailing, the weather and the sea.

Incredibly caring, respectful and thoughtful. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and family visiting Turkey!
